Now that the Taj is complete, I’m hoping to get some great painting in this year!

I really appreciate all those who helped me build it and especially my wife for letting me build it.


To build the canvas’s, I start off by measuring the frame size, then cutting all the wood. Once I have all the wood cut, I lay¬†all the pieces out on the floor. With an air gun, I staple all the wood together.

After all the pieces have been nailed, it’s very important to round all the corners off, otherwise you’ll tear the canvas when stretching it over. Honestly the first time I stretched the canvas I was a little worried it would tear. All it takes is a few times to get it down
